STANLEY WE – THERAPY

A Film By Nizan Kasper

WELCOME! to our new website & welcome to the new STANLEY WE project. It was time for something new, something fresh and something ever so slightly different from what we had before. Never change a winning formula is a true statement but like Daniel Kim (Stingwater) keeps telling us, we need to be: “Groeing and Evolving”. So here it is, our first exclusive on our new and improved platform. “So Fresh & So Clean!”

It is only fitting that we kick this off with Stanley We, people we love and support and give us the same love and support back. From the early days until now we have worked together and a bond has formed. Nizan Kasper’s newest project says it best: “End Of Self Promotion” this new project “A Film For My Friends”.

Almost 60 minutes of love is something you have to work for and work was what the guys put in. Like the port of the city of Hamburg, a lot of goods were imported (mostly Champagne) to make this video into what it is.

Alright, enough talk, Nizan made these little works of art down bellow and he put some slyly hidden gems in the video so spend some time with it. Respect the work and remember to love your friends. Peace!

From the company that brought you Roller Aaller 3 now comes CLEPDOCHEHNIX. Much has changed during the time between these two videos but the spirit has remained the same!

Featuring:

Benjamin Vogel, Tjark Thielker, Daniel Meyer, Jan Hoffmann, Niklas Speer von Cappeln, Mike Brauer, Dennis Laaß, Lennie Burmeister, Lars Zimmermann, Friedjof Feye, Christoph Friedmann, David Marlo Conrads & our favorite rapper Tightill!

Extended Play meaning:
1. extended play (record, tape, etc.)
2.an extended-play single, one of the formats in which music is sold, usually comprising four or five tracks.

Welcome to Cleptomanicx’s newest offering “Extended Play” which is aptly titled because it is in fact not a full length but also not a single.
It is a mid-length video created by Nizan Kasper who used musical terminology to give these 10 to 15-minute videos a suitable name. To strengthen the reference, he divided the project into a side-A and a Side-B with two “tracks” on each side.

Nizan Kasper produced this EP.

Similar to an EP there is a single on this recording, and there are album cuts. Like the team montage, which features one of Denis Laaß’ best tricks ever, we guess the music reminded him of the 90’s and sparked something!

Another great album cut is Niklas’ 50-50, Nosewheelie nollie flip and David Conrads vert trick which came as a surprise to many.

Benny Vogel, Nizan and Lars, footy check.

But in the end, people often buy the EP to listen to the single and that single is Benny Vogel and Lars Zimmermann’s welcome part. Pop and creativity are what they bring to the table with a classic “Day before the premiere” type of ender. Let hope Hamburg is proud of what they achieved because this is not an everyday thing.

Now press play and enjoy all that this EP has to offer.

Clepto took a boat in Hamburg and sailed to the real tip of Spain. They took Jan Hoffmann, Tjark Thielker, Lars Zimermann, Niklas and Benny Vogel who stoked us out with some strong moves and 2 great switch pushes.
Hoist the sails and press play!

Shortly after the “C U AT THE LOBBY” Video Stanley We are back with another high-class edit straight out of Hamburg, Digga!

We told you before that our friends from the Lobby Skateshop had something cooking for the end of the year. Now it is time for you to see what Lobby is all about. Germany’s second biggest city always dealt with some kind of an underdog position, a situation that makes it even harder to shine. The city is mad underrated and we would suggest you take a visit with your friends, go to Lobby and say what’s up. To get you motivated for your spring trip to Hamburg you should now enjoy their very first promo video.

Feat.: Benny Vogel, Nizan Kasper, Lars White, Dennis Behrens, Christoph Reinhardt, Danny Stephen, Anton Wempner, Kenny Hopf, Noah Moerbeck and Christoph Friedmann.

After the first part and a spot in Quartersnacks Top 10 for Kenny’s retarded Wheelie trick, here you have another video of the Cleptomanicx / Stanley WE Boys skating Paris.

Another one from Paris and actually also another one with Niklas Speer von Cappeln being involved. This time its Cleptomanicx & friends in the city of love.

Little did we know, Copenhagen is one step closer to paradise. We just got back from CPH Pro’17, and for the most of us, it was actually the very first time. While we were on our way to the capital with the world famous mermaid and probably the biggest and coolest contest in the world, we got a call from Henning Tapper (Cleptomanicx TM) asking if we would be interested in releasing their latest tour article. The answer was clear, although we did not even saw the video or any of those photos. It’s a trust thing and if you know that Niklas Speer von Cappeln, Jan Hoffman, Tjark Thielker, Benjamin Vogel and Dennis Laass went on a trip to a huge skate park that looks like Copenhagen, you better put all your trust in it. At this point, we do not even have to start to explain how crazy the architecture is. Watching the video, those guys did not even go to all the famous spots. Having David Lindberg as a spot guide and filmer was definitely helpful as well, but the rest was the pure power of having a smart community with very open minded people and no fear of including all the different urban subculture genre; instead of leaving us alone and building “stop skateboarding” signs. Copenhagen does it the right way and so did the Cleptomanicx team with this film.

It has been a while since a Skateboard Magazine from Europe released a full-length video project with the magazine at once. Our issue 61 comes with a 19-minute film, all filmed with a VX and Hi8. In times of Instagram and extremely fast ways of having your footage being released, we as a team got together and worked on this video for about four weeks.  Thaynan Costa, Hugo Maillard and Willem van Dijk came for a visit and every one of these guys killed it.

A big thank you to everyone involved, besides the lineup above this video features: Tjark Thielker, Timo Meiselbach, Nils Brauer, Jan Hoffmann, Paul Röhrs, Giorgi Armani, NSVC, Alex O’Donahoe, Peter Buikema, Deniz Bulgurcu, Daniel Pannemann, Roland Hoogwater, Valentin Cafuk, Alex Raeymaekers, Mats Edel, Jonas Heß & Danny Sommerfeld.

Filmed and edited by Peter Buikema.

Robotron has had a great year! They turned ten, multiple team riders have put out parts this year and Carsten “Barney” Beneker has been ripping extra hard since he hit that three-oh, so the bot chose to tour around Bella Italia this year.

Unfortunately not everybody could come but that left some extra room for some people that we don’t see skate that often. And with some people, we mean Julian Ruhe that sly guy truly sprinkled some style onto the pizza di-robo. Don’t waste any more time and click play.

Also featuring: Niklas Speer von Cappeln, Fatos Veseli, Kalle Wiehn, Jan Hoffmann & Dennis Behrens.

Francisco Saco did it again.

Erster Versuch, jeder Versuch: Bolognese kochen.
